THE SPACE
Two houses in a 3000 m² garden among eucalyptus trees. The 12 x 4 m pool, with wet solarium and a wide edge for loungers and tables, is the center of the day. The houses are rented together: each family has their own space and come together in the gallery, next to the grill or in the pool, when they want.

A mezzanine with double sofa bed and TV with Chromecast, which can be isolated with blackout curtains to use as an extra room. The gallery has a large grill, outdoor living area with garden furniture and deck to set up two dining tables.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD
The house is in an area of Rincón del Indio, among eucalyptus trees, quiet and natural, halfway between La Barra and Punta. It is a place to stay in the garden and go out by car when you want, not for walking everywhere.

Brava beach is about 14 blocks away (about 18 minutes on foot or 5 by car). About 5 minutes by car there are shopping centers and supermarkets, and 3 or 4 blocks away there are several small stores for daily shopping. The bus stop is about 7 blocks away. Punta Shopping can be reached in about 10 minutes by car.

HOW TO GET AROUND
By car is the most comfortable way to get around: you have parking for 6 cars on the property. To downtown (Avenida Gorlero) is about 12 minutes, to the port about 13 and to the bus terminal about 11. Laguna del Sauce airport is about 27 minutes away. Playa Brava is about 5 minutes by car. There is a bus stop about 7 blocks away.

We care about energy and water for the environment and because excessive use is costly. That's why the stay includes a generous daily consumption, and anything over that is charged. We're transparent about this so there are no surprises.

⚡ ELECTRICITY
Included up to 45 kWh per day (about USD 10), the limit for 7 bedrooms.
▪️ If exceeded, USD 30 is charged per 100 kWh extra, proportional to consumption: 50 kWh extra is USD 15.
▪️ To conserve it: turn off lights and air conditioning when leaving, use air conditioning between 22 °C and 24 °C with doors and windows closed, and unplug what you're not using.

💧 WATER
Included up to 3.5 m³ per day (3,500 liters), the limit for 7 bedrooms.
▪️ If exceeded, USD 25 is charged for each extra m³, in proportion: 0.5 m³ extra is USD 12.50.
▪️ To take care of it: short showers, washing machine with full load and tap closed while washing or brushing your teeth. No filling pools, washing cars or playing with hoses without authorization, and let us know of any leaks.

🚿 HOT WATER
In Uruguay almost all homes heat water with an electric water heater, so hot water is not unlimited: a tank is enough for one long shower or two or three short ones, and then it takes between 30 and 60 minutes to recover. If several people are bathing, leave some time between showers.

📊 HOW IT IS MEASURED
We record the meters when you arrive and when you leave. If there is an overage, we will send you the detailed calculation and the charge will be made through Airbnb.
