THE NEIGHBORHOOD
The apartment is on the Playa Mansa promenade, at Stop 21, with the sea one block away. It's a quiet beach area for walks, and daily essentials are within walking distance.

The beach at Stop 21 is about 60 meters away, and Stop 19 is about 4 blocks and 6 minutes on foot. There are 4 restaurants within less than 500 meters. Jr. Barrios supermarket is about 15 minutes on foot and Farmashop 88 pharmacy is about 18 minutes on foot.

HOW TO GET AROUND
On foot: the beach is about 60 meters away and the supermarket is about 15 minutes away.

By car: the center (Gorlero Avenue) and the port are about 11 minutes away, the bus terminal about 10 minutes, and Punta Shopping about 9 minutes. Laguna del Sauce airport is about 21 minutes away.

The building has a garage with one parking space. Maldonado's bus terminal is about 19 minutes on foot or 5 minutes by car.

ELECTRICITY AND WATER CONSUMPTION

We care for energy and water for the environment and because excessive use is costly. That's why the stay includes a generous daily consumption, and anything beyond that is charged. We're telling you clearly so there are no surprises.

⚡ ELECTRICITY
Included up to 25 kWh per day (about USD 6), the limit for 3 bedrooms.
▪️ If exceeded, USD 30 is charged for every 100 extra kWh, proportional to consumption: 50 extra kWh is USD 15.

💧 WATER
Water is included in your stay. We ask you to use it carefully for the environment: short showers, washing machine with full loads, and let us know of any leaks.

🔥 RADIANT FLOOR HEATING
Not included in the consumption: it's the most comfortable heating, and also the one that uses the most energy.
▪️ It is delivered off. If you want to use it, ask us: we measure the meter before and after, and you pay for what it consumes.
▪️ For 3 bedrooms, the estimated cost is USD 35 to 50 per day, from moderate to intensive use. This is a reference: it could be more or less.
▪️ It takes several hours to heat up. Use it between 18 °C and 24 °C, with windows closed and without leaving it on all day. For spot heating, air conditioning uses much less energy.

🚿 HOT WATER
In Uruguay almost all homes heat water with an electric water heater, so hot water is not unlimited: one tank is enough for one long shower or two or three short ones, and then it takes between 30 and 60 minutes to recover. If several people are bathing, leave some time between showers.

📊 HOW IT'S MEASURED
We record the meters when you arrive and when you leave. If there is an overage, we send you the detailed calculation and the charge is made through Airbnb.
